SUMMARY:Get to Know Rod Powell - An Evening with Music and Friends
DESCRIPTION:AN INVITATION FROM ROD: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI think we can all agree that we need educated\, informed\, and experienced individuals on the Cleveland County Board of Education. We need folks who will look out for the interests of our students\, teachers\, staff\, and administrators. And we also need our board members to understand that the economic viability of our state’s future depends on an educated populace. \n\n\n\nMy supporters tell me that I fit the bill to fill those needs\, Plus\, my 28 years of experience in the classroom – teaching history and civics – serves me well in understanding how government functions. \n\n\n\nName recognition and word of mouth are key. But yard signs and other marketing materials are not cheap! And I sure could use your financial support if you’re in a position to help. \n\n\n\nPlease choose a contribution level by clicking the blue button below\, get your ticket(s)\, then join us for an evening of music and fun. Get to know me and my other supporters. With your help spreading the word about my candidacy and with your financial support\, we CAN win a seat on the Cleveland County Board of Education. \n\n\n\nWe have a great band lined up for your entertainment: Black Coffee Quartet. But I’m most looking forward to seeing you on the 23rd!
