These people are our neighbors\, but we haven’t done a very good job of reaching out to them and inviting them into our big tent. Let’s change that!  \n\n\n\nOur special guest speaker for our June 6 gathering is former Minnesota Senator and current political consultant\, Mee Moua. Mee was the first female Hmong American to be elected to a state legislature anywhere in our country! Impressive\, huh? And that’s only one of a long list of impressive things this lady has accomplished.  \n\n\n\nPlease take advantage of this special learning opportunity. Let’s learn more about our neighbors and encourage them to join us in all our activities\, including voting. Mee can help us do that. DESCRIPTION:We’re having an Election Night Watch Party on Tuesday\, March 5 from 6-10 PM on the patio at Mulligan’s at Deerbrook. There are thick plastic roll-up “windows” and outside heaters if we need to warm up. But the temp is expected to be in the 60s and should be very pleasant. \n\n\n\nWe’ll have MSNBC playing on a 75” TV\, and we’ll display the local election results on a 45” TV. \n\n\n\nEnjoy a cash bar and a full menu. (See menu below.) By the way\, Tuesday specials include $3 Mexican beer and $5 Margaritas. \n\n\n\nPlease RSVP at your earliest convenience\, so we can get an approximate head count.
