2026 NC Congressional District 14 Annual Convention
May 16 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

You are invited to attend the 2026 NC Congressional District 14 Annual Convention!
This year, our keynote speaker will be Judge Toby Hampson. As many of you know, Judge Hampson will be on your ballot in November. And our judicial races have never been more critical to our wellbeing than they are right now.
Per judgetobyhampson.com, “Not only has Judge Hampson been serving on the Court of Appeals since 2019, he’s a leading expert in appellate law in North Carolina. He serves on the North Carolina Bar Association’s Appellate Rules Committee and is a Bar-certified specialist in Appellate Practice.”
Please come get to know Judge Hampson better, so you can inspire your friends, neighbors, and family to get out and vote for him too. If we want to fix the problems in North Carolina, the first thing we must do is fix our courts!
Also on our agenda is another wonderful speaker: our candidate for U.S. Congress in District 14, Rev. LaKesha Womack. Candidate Womack’s opponent is none other than Tim Moore. If you haven’t met Rev. Womack yet, you are in for a treat. And you will soon realize that with our full support and hard work, she has a real chance to unseat Tim Moore.
Before the convention begins, we will offer a free training session for all current candidates, their teams, and anyone else who thinks they might want to be a candidate somewhere down the road. This session starts at 9:00 AM. If you are going to participate in the training, please arrive by 8:30 AM, so you can get through registration and find a seat for the training.
Refreshments will be provided free of charge.
TIMES TO NOTE:
- 8:30 AM — Doors open for registration and sign-in
- 9:00 AM — Optional training for candidates, possible future candidates, and their teams
- 10:00 AM — 2026 Democratic North Carolina Congressional District 14 Annual Convention kicks off!
Looking forward to seeing you on May 16!
